Hummus is a great dip and healthier than ranch. I like eat it with vegetable, it is also a great replacement for Mayo on Sandwiches or wraps.
I figure, if you have a good dip, you are more likely to eat more veggies.
In a High Speed Blender add:
1 15 oz Can Garbanzo Beans, drained & Rinsed
1/8 C. Tahini (I buy mine from Vitacost.com)
3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil
2 Garlic cloves, with skins removed
1 tsp. Cumin
3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
3 Tbsp. Water
1 tsp. Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning
Salt & Pepper to taste
Blend Well, until Creamy.
