Are you looking for a super healthy and clean Oat Bar recipe? This one is a good one. I got it from my Eat to Live Cookbook from Dr. Joel Fuhrman.
Recipe:
2 C. Oats
1/2 C. Unsweetened shredded Coconut
1/2 C. Chopped dates or raisins (this might be better if you make the dates or raisins into a paste by blending them in a bit of water in the blender).
1/4 C. Chopped walnuts
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
3/4 C. Apple, chopped
2 Tbsp. Ground Flax Seeds
Mix well. Press into a greased 9x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees.
Cool. Cut into squares.
I served mine with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
